War Mongering Minds
I wonder, why you can't be still!
Ever in movement, and never in rest;
Loaded with intellectual momentum,
And cursed with becoming—
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
Alas, mankind is in amnesia,
Painful lessons, man has not learnt;
Forever, the world is in turmoil—
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
War is a poor third to natural catastrophes,
Though it shatters man's every hope.
Volcanoes and earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis—
Primordial to present: Earth is in upheaval!
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
Thought in division breeds groups in conflict,
Pushing the local to regional, to global bullying!
When the bulls turn violent, it is war indeed.
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
Why should it be I and II, anyway?
And how many more it implies?
Fundamental mistakes: hardly erased!
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
It only wants to kill, but sustain;
Watch out: it causes death but never faces it within!
To die within is to live without—
Here, it is evidenced!
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
Old habits die hard!
Beware, mankind, don't be unkind;
No escape, face it—death is imminent.
Learn to die silent.
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
Live and let people live,
Die and let people die!
It is thought which is corrupting;
Learn to be silent.
Omg... Let There Be Peace!
